We would like to bring to your attention an important update regarding the recent
changes in the rate of service tax under the Service Tax Act 2018, as announced by the
Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
According to announcements from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, effective
1st March 2024, the rate of service tax under the Service Tax Act 2018 is increased
from 6% to 8% on all taxable services excluding food & beverage services,
telecommunication services, provision of parking spaces services and logistics services.
Consequently, our services rendered on or after 1st March 2024 will be subject to SST
of 8%.
